Bill was a fishing buddy and a dear friend. Bill was my trainer for a job that he was a professional. I will always remember the fishing days we had icefishing and the hunting stories he shared on our long trips to a job. I will miss this friend.

What an amazing person Bill was. Always greeted us Ludwig kids with a warm and welcoming smile. Heather, Erik, Leif and Tina, I am thinking of you during this difficult time. Watching a loved one pass away from cancer is not easy! I am so sorry for your loss and will be praying for comfort and peace for all of you. Bill will be greatly missed!

Today is a beautiful day. Even though the sky is grey and my heart is heavy while I know Tina feels like a knife is sticking in her heart, not only just sticking there but it was pulled down and has left a huge gash. You and your whole family have my sympathy. He meant so much to me and mine.
Sometimes I can see him with such a sorrowful face when I begged him to tell me he was lying when he said George was dead. Now they are dancing on that beautiful floor with golden slippers, where they wait with open arms for us to join them. It seems so near now, no day is so long that the evening wont come. We would like to offer our condolences to the Hallstrom family. Words are never enough but we hope happy memories of good times will help you through the days ahead. Bill will be remembered by our family as a kind honest and sincere man. He was an employee who was more like a mentor to us and we first and foremost considered him a friend. He was always very respected by anyone who crossed his path. His intelligence and kindness always shone brightly even when he quietly went about hisI work. I will always remember our talks about walking and excercise ---and the way he enjoyed having a bite or two of some forbidden treat -- His love for his wife Tina and his pride in his family were always evident when he spoke about their travels and adventures. He was a good man and he will be missed. Sending love light and prayers as you lay him to rest. With sympathy and love , Debby French

Bill Hallstrom was a gentleman and a scholar. I have had many pleasant conversations with Bill of the years and worked with him on various projects. I will miss his sage advice and easy smile. My condolences to his wife and family.

My thoughts & prayers are with you Tina, Erik, Heather, Leif and other family members. Bill was an incredible, gentle, loving, caring man. I don't know if I ever saw him without a smile - except maybe when the Detroit Pistons lost a game. Each surviving family member is special to my sister & I, just as Bill was.
Blessings ~ Brent Ludwig
