A very special lady Vergene Johnson. I was the store manager at Montgomery Wards the last two years of its existence. She always treated employees with respect and it was truly a pleasure to have worked with her. My wife and i had purchased the Mountain Trader the year before the store closed and we were quick to offer her a job with the Mountain Trader when the store closed. As always, she was a great asset. Our thoughts are with the family as I am sure she will be missed.
