I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Joan! We always looked forward to spending time at her house (with Uncle Jim, too!) on Big Sky Blvd, and she used to take me to the little stream that ran behind their yard. Later, we visited her at the Flathead Lake house, and my kids enjoyed riding in kayak with Marie.
I'm sad that she no longer graces the world with her physical presence, but she is with Uncle Jim once more, and her own awesome parents. I hope that peace quickly fills the hole in all of your hearts, and that her spirit and spunk can be an inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
My mom and my sister (Kathy) will be there to share in your loss, and in the celebration of the life she lived and has gone home to enjoy in the presence of God. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend, but please know how much Joan meant to me, and how sorry I am to say goodbye.
Much love to all of you during this difficult time.

Susan, Mark, Diane and Marie,
Our family was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was such a beautiful lady. We did get to chat with her for a few minutes at the Prestige Assisted Living not to long ago while attending a birthday party for a friend. Our father who is now 97 has very fond memories of your family especially while neighbors out in Evergreen. He doesn't get out and about much anymore but wanted to send his sincere condolences to your family.

Joan was one of the first people I met when we moved to Kalispell- I was working at the Health Department and there was a group of individuals - including Joan - who met to try to promote nutrition and healthy eating. As a school nurse, she was a great promoter of healthy eating and healthy habits and I have great respect for all she did in that vein. She had a wonderful sense of humor and smile that I will always cherish. I actually though so highly of Joan that we chose Mark to be our financial counselor! My thoughts and prayers are with Joan's family- she will truly be missed!
