Janice welcomed us into her home to spend a few days of our honeymoon 1966. Her trips to Minnesota to visit bringing Anne to meet us. Her beautiful poetic Christmas Letters was her way to keep in touch with family. The bell choir, church, her garden, her and Anne's life . She kept up with the times communicating via email, even Facebook. We will miss her enthusiasm for life via her letters and visits. We know she is with God Who she loved and worked for.

I was so sorry to hear about Jan's passing. She was such a hard worker and contributed to the lives of so many during her years at Peterson School along side myself and the other Tutors. Her love for gardening was always appreciated when potatoes came in and Sunflower season as well. We shared a love for our pets, they were a part of our families. I am comforted knowing the bells will be ringing in Heaven now, a little bit louder and welcoming Jan into the gates of Heaven. You will be missed Jan.

Sadden to hear of the passing of Jan. She was an amazing woman with so much to offer. She will be sorely missed. Prayers for you, Ann, and the rest of the family.

I am so sad to hear this. Mrs. Kienas was such a wonderful person! I remember going over to her house and getting vegetables and berries. If she couldn't grow it, it couldn't be grown! Always had time to visit for a bit and kept such a beautiful home, yard and garden. She is going to be greatly missed. My condolences to the family.
