Jim was a joy in my life. He always made me smile and treated me kindly! He gave me a Gold Fish plant and called me occasionally to make sure I was treating it well! I miss him already!!

Jim was one of the kindest and most compassionate men I have every know. My family and I were the beneficiaries of that kidness when we came to Kalispell and Jim opened his office to me and gave me a start. I was privileged to watch Jim change the lives of many with his knowledge and skill as a lawyer. Jim made a difference in this world and I am blessed to have had him as my friend. I will miss his stories, his laugh, and the twinkle in eye. I pray God comforts his family.

Dear Jeanne and kids,
Although in later years, jim and my paths did not cross as often as they did when I was active with the City of Kalispell, I still always considered Jim a good friend. I'm so sorry to hear of my friend's passing. Unfortunately we are out of town and cannot attend his service, but our hearts and prayers will be with you all.

Have many good memories working with Jim as an officer of the District Court along with just a friendship I will be in Kansas City the day of the funeral but want to express good thoughts to you all. Tom Best
