Beloved sister, mother and friend, Harriett M. “Hattie May” (Almond) Damm, age 83, formerly of Kalispell, Montana resided in Oak Hills, California at the time she passed away on December 23, 2016.

Harriett was born on June 18, 1933 in Savage, Montana. She was a daughter and seventh child of John and Carrie (Leivestad) Almond.

Harriett was preceded in death by her parents, John and Carrie (Leivestad) Almond; brothers John Almond and Roy Almond; and sisters, Mary (Almond) Pust, and Edith (Almond) Damm.

She is survived by her three sisters, Annie (Almond) Klempel of Bigfork, MT, Ida (Almond) Larson of Camp Verde, AZ, and Florence (Almond) (Don) Dvorak of Wikieup, AZ, and her seven children, Lois (Mel) Peterson of Martin City, MT; Marilyn (Tracy) Hall, of Hamilton, MT, Sandra Judd of Vancouver, WA, Edna (John) Collins of St. Cloud, FL, Edward (Kathy) Damm of Oak Hills, CA, Lorna Borgen of Peyton, CO, and Eugene (Marian) Damm of Ararat, NC.  She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30PM on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home, 525 South Main St., Kalispell, MT. with a viewing one hour prior. Interment will immediately follow at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery, Kalispell, Montana. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home is caring for Harriett’s family.
