Sixteen years as neighbors and friends, what a gift. Our peaceful little street won't be the same without you, Jerry.
The memories will last, though; the sound of your tractor as you tended your vineyard, the many chats with you and Kathy over the fence, at our doors, in our houses, in the yard. A special memory is that of meeting you in the middle of the road to enjoy one of our rare snows together early one morning I think we all were feeling like kids as we took pictures and marveled at our new white world. We've loved hearing the laughter of your grandchildren and sound of basketball at your family gatherings. You and Bill lending and borrowing tools, or dropping what you were doing to cross the road to help each other, can't get better than that... And you telling stories, somewhere in which you always said with a grin, "to make a long story long", and most of all we'll remember your and Kathy's love for each other and your family.
We know we will see you again someday. In the meantime, we'll continue to love Kathy, and be here for her and any of the Curran's who need us. We pray that they will know God's comfort during this trying time.
