Lisa Anne Owens, 60, passed away at her home in Lakeside, MT. Her loving dog, Grizzly was at her side. She is preceded in death by her beloved, Dave Junkin. She is survived by her parents, Dorothea and Troy Owens, sister Terri Stephens, brother-in-law Brent, and their children Kaila and Haven.

She was born on March 13, 1957 in Hollywood, CA. She later moved to Michigan at age 14 with her family. She studied drama and social work at University of Michigan for her BA. Then went on to get her MSW at University of Washington in 1987.
A stellar grant writer, Lisa worked at Children’s Home Society in Seattle, WA for more than 25 years.

Lisa was always singing, from choirs to musicals. She sang with the Seattle Peace Chorus for many years. Lisa had many friends in all corners of the world. She had a special gift for making each person feel appreciated and honored. She was full of life and energy up to the moment of her sudden death from a heart attack. She had recently celebrated her 60th birthday in true Lisa style, with flair and great attention to detail.
