William Franklin Brensinger

January 26, 1933 ~ September 7, 2023 (age 90) 90 Years Old

Tribute

William (Bill) Brensinger passed peacefully on Sept 7th at the age of 90. Bill was born in 1932 in Schuykill Haven Pennsylvania where his parents Vesta and William Brensinger raised a family of five on a small farm.
Bill lived with his parents until he entered the Navy in 1952 where he served our country in the Korean War. After two tours and nearly 11 years of service he was honorably discharged in May of 1963 and moved to Casper Wyoming. Bill later moved to Kalispell Montana where he would call home for the remainder of his life. It’s here where he met his late wife Diana and they shared a wonderful marriage for over 25 years until a battle with cancer took her life. Bill loved the outdoors and his fondest memories were hunting, fishing and camping with his family and friends. He enjoyed sports and was a devoted Duke Blue Devils basketball fan along with a passionate Braves baseball fan. He rarely missed a game that spanned four decades.
Bill was an avid cook and enjoyed cooking for large events and was always the chef at family reunions. His crab feeds and full beef or pig barbeques were always must attend events.
Bills greatest joy was his family. He would visit South Carolina each year for weeks at a time where he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and fishing with his son. Bill had a sharp mind until he passed and never forgot a birthday, anniversary or major milestones of his loved ones.
Bill never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. The smiles and laughter he brought to so many can only be replaced with the memories we cherish.
Bill preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Diana, daughter Rhonda, sisters Grace, Kathrine and brother Raymond. He is survived by his sister May of Pottsville Pa, son Richy and Elyse, grandchildren Lexi, Ashlyn and Breanna of Lexington SC, stepson Ray Schneider of Great Falls MT, Cathy and Don Morton, Tyler and Jesse Comstock of Kalispell MT, Kevin Brensinger who is deployed in the military, Matthew Rodriguez of Deerlodge and Bystol Rodriguez of California along with several great grandchildren.
There will be a small family graveside service held at a later date.
