Stevie Anne Sorensen

November 19, 1998 ~ March 17, 2016 (age 17) 17 Years Old
Stevie Anne Sorensen, 22

Our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend, Stevie Anne Sorensen, 22, left us on March 17, 2016 from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident near Columbia Falls, MT.  Stevie was born in Kalispell, MT on November 19, 1993 to Rebecca and Steve Sorensen of Eureka, MT.  She attended Lincoln County High School where she played the French horn in the band, was a member of Tri M Honor Society, the tennis team, and the speech and drama club.  She loved to dance and since she was four years old was an active participant in the Creative Arts Center's dance program, continuing her love of dance as an adult with opportunities offered through Dance Elements of Kalispell.  Stevie was a free spirit and brightened the lives of everyone she met. She had a warm, soft heart and a wicked sense of humor; she loved glitter, glitz, and bling; anything fuzzy or soft to the touch; cats, boxes, baubles and shopping, and was often seen napping wrapped in a nest of snuggly blankets, or reading her way through a pile of books. She was currently a student at Flathead Community College and  worked at Target in Kalispell, MT. She was known for her beautiful smile and loved by everyone who knew her.  She left us too soon and will be missed. Dance on Stevie....
She was proceeded in death by grandfathers Claude Sorensen and Ray Zemke, grandmother Marjorie Zemke and uncle Greg Sorensen. Survivors include mother Rebecca Sorensen, Libby; father Dr. Steve (Sarah) Sorensen, Libby; brother Brockton Sorensen, Spokane, WA; grandmother Dorothy Sorensen, Newberg, OR and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at the Riverstone Lodge in Eureka on Saturday, March 26 at 12:00 pm with a luncheon immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to the Stevie Sorensen Dance Scholarship Fund.  Please contact First Interstate Bank of Eureka for more scholarship information. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the Sorensen family.
