DOC...YOU WILL BE MISSED GREATLY BY MANY...I SO ENJOYED OUR YEARS OF COACHING BASKETBALL TOGETHER...I ALWAYS CONSIDERED US AS CO-HEAD COACHES AS YOU HAD SUCH A GRAND WAY WITH THE OLDER YOUNG MEN WE COACHED THAT I HAD NOT DEVELOPED...IN THE BASKETBALL COACHING REALM, YOU WERE TRULY "THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS."

You were such an inspiration and role model for so many people over the years, you definitely left your mark on this community. You were one of the best people I had the pleasure of knowing, and i'm lucky to be able to call you family. Thank you for being such a loving grandpa and father.
The world is a lesser place without you in it. Love you.

Wanda and family, so sorry for your loss. Doc was a great man. He was one of the best teachers I ever had. No matter how long it had been since he last saw you, he always remembered your name. He will be greatly missed.

Doc was a truly great guy, coach, teacher, and mentor to many of us...my memories and thoughts about Doc have and will always be great memories about how much he cared for his students and his ballplayers. "We got ourselves a ballgame" is a quote from Doc, amongst many, many things I will always remember. RIP Doc.

Love and Prayers to the family🙏
So sorry to hear of your loss . Doc was a wonderful man, teacher, and coach!
When he was in Geraldine , Doc and Ron were friends with my Dad, and hung out at our house on several occasions . My Dad truly admired him, and kept basketball books for them. He was also my teacher , and what an inspiration he was !
God Bless
Rest In Peace Doc
