Lora Lee Croskrey Steele Phillips 1945-2023
Lora Lee Croskrey made her entrance into this world on February 4th 1945. Throughout her life she developed voluminous skills that propelled her into cosmetology, real estate, boating, car clubs, and even aviation! After retiring, she worked many years in JC Penney’s jewelry department, taking great care assisting in locating the perfect gem. The Croskrey’s were salt-of-the-earth people, brimming with personality and natural wit; the life of the party, per se. Easy to talk to, willing to help at the drop of a hat. Old-fashioned Irish values, with an infallible, optimistic attitude—even in the most dire of circumstances. Lora was exceptional, memorable, and unforgettable in every single facet of her existence. Her loved ones will continue to celebrate her light-hearted and spirited approach to life. She is survived by an enormous coterie of family and friends. A tried and true pillar of the original Flathead Valley.
A celebration of life will be held at The DeSoto Grill on June 22, 2024. It will be open to the general public.
