Kyle Douglas Gardner
Kyle Douglas Gardner, 31, a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, went to be with his Heavenly Father June 21, 2021, in Columbia Falls, Montana. Kyle was born September 30, 1989, in Great Falls, Montana to Maureice and Stephanie (Zubatch) Gardner.
Kyle graduated May 11, 2017, with his Aeroplane and Power Plant Mechanic (A&P) degree from West Memphis, Arkansas. Kyle won Gold in his division in SKILLS, USA and received a full-ride college scholarship.
Kyle had a passion for the wild blue skies and took advantage of flying every chance he could. He enjoyed boating and fishing on the lake, floating the river, kayaking, and Dragon Boat Racing with his team the Imperial Dragons (Flathead Lake Brewing Co). He also loved to snow ski and was an all-around athlete. Among his favorite outdoor activities included hunting with his cousin Drake; hiking and riding dirt bikes.
Kyle had a passion early on for guns, tinkering with power tools, motors and anything that could go faster or higher or explode!
Kyle was a kind and loving soul with an infectious smile and positive attitude that could melt your heart with a hug or a high-five. He had a tender heart for children and loved being Funkle Kyle (“Fun Uncle” Kyle).
Kyle LOVED to argue about politics and really enjoyed engaging his dad in long discussions about cars and airplanes. He passionately loved his family without an agenda. He was a true and dedicated friend and companion to his dog Heidi, whom he loved very much.
Kyle was preceded in death by his dear family friends Howard “HoHo” Joslin and Greg Lockley and his paternal grandparents, Eldon and Merrllyn (Brown) Gardner (Ft. Benton, Montana).
Kyle is survived by and will forever be loved and cherished by his family: Parents Maureice and Stephanie Gardner (Garden City, KS); Sisters: Abbie Gardner (Garden City, KS), Amber Gardner (Rilee) Spresser (Oakley, KS); and Natalie Gardner (Garden City, KS); Maternal Grandparents George and Bonnie (Crownover) Zubatch (Havre, MT); Nieces: JoLynn and Magdalynn Spresser and Nephew: Rhett Spresser (all of Oakley, KS); Cousin Drake (Havre, MT) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
