Tribute

Jeanne Ann Bowman went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 25, 2019, in Kalispell Montana due to complications of metatastic breast cancer.  She was born on April 19, 1953 in Kalispell, Montana to Mary Katrina Deitrick and Bennick Hyder Bowman.
Jeanne grew up in the Kalispell public schools, later attending Flathead Valley Community College.  She worked at the Liberty and Strand theaters as well as the drive-in. As a new Mom, she ran a daycare out of her home and was active in the Helena Flats PTO.  Jeanne later worked at J.C Penney before moving on to work at her favorite job at Hoopers Nursery. Her last occupation was at the Flathead Electric Cooperative as an accounts payable accountant making many lifelong friends in the process.
Jeanne married Greg Iverson on November 28, 1969 and they were married for 37 years.  They remained friends until her passing. Jeanne married Robb Hatton on July 19, 2014 and was married for four years.
Jeanne spent the last nine years bravely fighting breast cancer at M.D.Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas, the Dana Farber Cancer Center and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston Massachusetts, the Langone Medical Center in New York City, New York and Kalispell Regional Hospital in Kalispell Montana.  As the cancer advanced she was determined to participate in clinical trials and any treatment necessary to further research in hopes of a cure. And not just for herself. Jeanne fought for and welcomed the opportunity to be a pioneer for future generations and gave the ultimate gift.
Jeanne was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, friend and family member.  She enjoyed the company of great friends and fussing over her children and grandchildren.  Jeanne loved to garden, everything she touched flourished under her tender care. She had a deep love for dogs and her devoted sheltie, Tucker, reaped the benefits.  She had a love of Downton Abbey, The Great British Baking Show, Frankie and Grace, and made the best fried chicken and apple pie. Later in life, Jeanne cared for, and had a deep connection with the "big yellow house" in Somers, Montana where she loved to sit with her beloved collie Simba and look out over Flathead Lake.
Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Nichole Bemis, her husband Jeff and grandchildren Jeffrey James and Michael Haven of Farmington, Connecticut; Ty Iverson, his wife Rebecca and grandchildren Britton Gray and Gwenna Evangeline of Lancaster, California; brother Ben Bowman and wife Brenda of Albequerque, New Mexico; sister Linda Bonar and husband Mick of Bigfork, Montana; sister Elaine Symington and husband Steve of Kalispell, Montana; and Brian Deitrick and wife Dana of Scottsdale, Arizona, in addition to many cousins, nieces and nephews.
