George Gael Mood
George Mood died peacefully at Edgewood Memory Care in Kalispell, Montana on December 14, 2020. He was born July 19, 1932 in the City of Seattle, WA.
George served in the Coast Guard from September 16, 1952 until June 20, 1956. He learned his trade as an electrician and participated in many rescues at sea.
On June 8, 1956 he married Donna Isabelle Mood. They lived an exciting life in Ketchikan, Alaska where George had a charter boat called "Flower Girl" in honor of the flower shop Donna owned. In the 1980's they moved to Eureka, MT and eventually built their mountain dream home in Fortine, MT. They lived there happily until Donna died May 28, 2014.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, parents George and Ruth Mood, and by his brother Glen Mood. He is survived by his two nephews and niece, Mike Mood, Stephen Mood, and Susan Bertis.
George will be cremated and buried alongside Donna at Bayview Cemetery in Ketchikan, Alaska. A burial date has not yet been determined.
