Gary is a 1964 graduate of Cambridge High School in Weston, Mass, where he played football, basketball, hockey and baseball during his high school career. He attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ on a baseball scholarship and entered into the Aero Space Engineer program. During his junior year he realized engineering was not for him and with his extensive background in math, he transferred to Western State College in Gunnison, CO where he received his teaching degree. He went on to get two Masters in Business from The University of Northern in Greeley, CO. His teaching career began in 1972 at Northglenn Jr High, and most of his teaching and coaching career
at Aurora Central High School, in Aurora, CO from 1974 -2008. After a very short retirement he joined the staff at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch. Gary headed up the Math Lab. He loved teaching, his students and coaching. Gary and Terry both retired in June 2015 and they joined their sons in the beautiful Flathead Valley in Kalispell, MT, on a little family farm.
Gary will be missed by all, as he was a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ, a faithful husband, a wonderful father to his sons and a great friend to many.
