Donald James Taylor, age 67, passed away peacefully following a long-term battle with medical issues. He was a long time resident of Kalispell, MT. He was a feisty individual with both a quick wit and sense of humor. He served in the US Navy during Viet Nam, receiving an honorable discharge. He was employed in the food industry for many years.
Don enjoyed his very big screen television over recent times. His love was his dachshund, Venus, who remains behind with a long-time friend of Don's. In healthier times, Don enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish. And talk about an avid fan - his collection of Green Bay Packers paraphernalia is extensive and one had better not mess with the TV remote control on GB Packers play days.
He is survived by three of his five siblings: Penny Leatzow, Kalispell, MT; Wesley Taylor, Pahrump, NV; and George Taylor, West Chicago, IL, as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives. His mother, Mildred DeJong, Kalispell, MT and his father, John W. Taylor, Gillespie, IL, brother, Fred Muntwyler, Chicago, IL and brother, Michael Taylor, Wenatchee, WA, all predeceased him by many years.
Johnson-Gloschat Crematory is caring for the family. In memory of Don, contributions may be made to Rocky Mountain Heart & Lung, 350 Heritage Way, Suite 2100, Kalispell, MT 59901.
