Tabitha Spencer: As anyone who has met Shayla would already know, she was awesome. She always had that radiant smile that would shine across the room. I am going to miss her random hair colors and styles. We would talk about so much different things and never run out of things to talk about. She never let anything bring her down (even cancer). She will truly be remembered and missed.

lashon abell: Sometimes someone touches your life in such an unexpected way; Shayla was that ANGEL to me. I had been going through a tough divorce and became friends with her at Diggers. She would give me that smile and one of her heartfelt hugs and I instantly felt better. A group of us started doing kareoke at my house, and Shayla was the first one to master the title of "singstar"...She had an amazing voice and a charismatic personality that will be missed and remembered by all. Until we meet again My Girl, love and peace 2 your friends and family....LaShon

Sheena Roberts: I dont think I have many memories that dont include you from this past year. Not only were we roommates but you became my rock and my best friend. I always knew you would listen to whatever I had to say and you always had the best solutions and your own philosphy. From watching Intervention and the Bad Girls Club ( which Jess, you and me swore we should be on ;) ) to getting ready in your room (which always included a photoshoot after), road trips, sushi, shopping, and you and me attempting to cook. You could walk into a room and instantly take all the focus. You are gorgeous inside and out and I feel so lucky to have made such an amazing bond with you, even if it was cut short. I love you Shayla and I always will. Love Sheena

I know your up there watching down on us and I only hope heaven is as wonderful to you and you were to all of us in your life. If anyone deserves it, its you. I love you my dear friend, may you rest in peace.
