Debra “Debi” Ann Burton died at the age of 58, on September 11, 2011 at Northwest Health Center in Kalispell Montana. She was born September 10, 1953 in Whittier CA.
Debi graduated from California High School, Whittier, CA, in 1971. She loved being around people. At age 16, she helped her mom hosting at the restaurant where her mom worked. Her passion for clothes began when she graduated high school and she went to work for a women's clothing boutique in Whittier.
Debi married in 1973 and moved to Montana shortly thereafter. Her son Justin was born in 1983. She became the manager of the Jean Factory Clothes Gallery in Kalispell. Her dream came true when she opened her own store, Impressions, in Bigfork in 1986. This year she celebrated the 25th anniversary of Impressions. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, which also included many, many clothing markets.
Survivors include Bill Burton of Bigfork, her son Justin; sister, Sharon Honn; Brother, Jerry Van Leeuwen. There are many other family members and close friends which she deeply loved.
Her Life will be celebrated on Saturday September 17 at 1pm at Crossroads Christian Fellowship in Bigfork. Interment will follow at Bigfork Community Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral home on Friday the 16th from 12-6pm.
